The Arts and Theatre Institute, coordinator of Theatre Night 2014, will have its doors open all day (11am-11pm) again this year on the date of the event to operate as information centre, but this year in addition it is also preparing its own special programme.

On Saturday, 15 November, the building of Manhart Palace will be open to the public to offer visitors a unique opportunity to view the spaces inside the baroque palace building on Celetná Street. The institute’s individual departments are preparing a special programme that is designed to showcase the many various activities of the Arts and Theatre Institute, but that will also in a public-friendly way highlight interesting things in the history of Czech theatre. In addition to this educational programme, there will be a Prague Quadrennial performance every hour between 4pm and 10pm in the palace courtyard, where online broadcasts from theatres around the country will also be screened throughout the day.
